I called a buddy of mine in the Sugar Land Counter Terrorism Unit (SLCTU), and all he could tell me was that there was a report of a suspicious package.

I have an inside source that told me they found a suspicious package at st Laurence catholic church. Apparently they closed the church out of an abundance of caution. No one currently in danger and police are on the scene. Will let you know if I hear anything else from my source but I do know an investigation is underway.

All I heard, and who knows how accurate this is, but that a box of ammunition was found…and some guy was trying to get in the building by prying a door open.

Any further word? My kids used to go to St Laurence, still have friends there. It was hysteria for my wife's friends that day

Our kids go to school there. They've given us little to no details, just tell us there wasn't an immediate threat and person is in custody. Will have extra officers present this week. Lots of parents are uneasy with sending students back. With the rumors and details that have been shared so far I don't blame them.
