Tomball Star Academy is not a high school that kids are zoned to. It is the early college high school that allows kids to earn an associates degree when they graduate high school. The alternative school (it's actually called Tomball Connections Academy) is also not a school that kids are zoned to. It is the place where kids with discipline problems go, as well as 18+ students who have disabilities.

The two "traditional" high schools are Tomball and Tomball Memorial. A third high school, Tomball West, is scheduled to open in 2026. Tomball and Tomball Memorial are both 6A, and they are the only high schools with traditional competitive athletics and band programs.
