Incoming with all this rain!

I have been pleasantly surprised with how few there have been out here in our section of Cypress...until last night. Even wearing spray they were bad. Constantly bouncing off of us.redaszag99 said:

Was outside on the patio all weekend. I saw one mosquito.
Get a spray system. They seriously work
didn't feel like I got much benefit from mine...Rustys-Beef-o-Reeno said:
I will say if you can afford it, a mosquito spray system around the perimeter of your house is the best investment I've ever made.

I got myself a towable sprayer and hook it up to my zero turn and nuke my property with bifen.
Tekko kills the egg cycle. It's key for things like roaches, but I guess it also works for termites. I haven't seen a termite swarm for years. I suspect it doesn't matter a lot for mosquitoes because they are so transient, but if you have a roach problem, be sure to use the Tekko.Sea Speed said:
Tekko is the termite spray, correct? I can't keep them all straight.
For the lawn, I found some water soluble pre emergent granules I'll use for weed control going forward.
I just walk the yard with a pump up sprayer. You went full-blown Monsanto/Borlaug/ADM there.Sea Speed said:
Wired a toggle switch that controls the sprayer. I think I got just over an acre with one tank. I honestly wish I had a slightly less powerful pump on there. Makes fast work of it.
That is an interesting system. how much does that cost?Aggie09Derek said:
We use the In2Care pods. Pest control company comes by once a month to service them.
