Ring camera network chat group had this last night.



The poster posted this twice. The second one had a number of replies and it seems there actually is a spider monkey roaming the Katy area biting kids. Or at least one kid.

The original post reads like she doesn't know if the monkey has a syringe in its hand that contains a vaccine.

I saw this one too the other night while putting the kids to bed and couldn't stop laughing. If this is the way we're going out, I'm all for it. Too bad the comments were closed on this Ring notification.

Fulshear area.

I believe the fulshear area animal control isn't going to have a bunch of humane answers to a spider monkey problem.

And it is kinda interesting tome how many people out this way have pet monkeys.

The area has lots of water with alligators. We see them regularly at Cross Creek and surrounding developments. Lots of coyotes. Lots of large hawks and a few larger eagles. And of course neighborhood dogs.

I would think a spider monkey would last only a few months at best with the above.


The real shame is we probably won't get a ring video of an eagle plucking the little guy out of a tree.
