Hey Ags,

I haven't lived in Houston in a decade, so my knowledge base is weak. We are coming into Galveston and flying out of Hobby. Have some time for breakfast and am craving something like a Teotihuacan. But we don't want to go too far north since we're flying out of Hobby. Anything south like that?

Taqueria Del Sol at 8114 Park Place is what you're looking for. It's a little north of Hobby but still outside the Loop. It's my favorite in the area.

It is. There's also a little taqueria/grocery combo down the street, Taqueria Aguascalientes, at 2809 Broadway that is my favorite taco place in Houston. Their al pastor is the tits.

I have a couple of coworkers that rave about Aguascalientes. It's not Mexican, but I like to stop at the Kolache Shoppe on Telephone when I'm having breakfast near Hobby.
