Seriously, the Graham and other North Texas job requests belonged on the Metroplex board, I think, but where does Wichita Falls go? Not really metroplex, probably more Panhandle/South Plains in attitude, but not really there geographically.

Do we need a "Rolling Plains" board?

Yes I thought it was very rude. I posted the same thread on the Metroplex board. I guess I should have taken out the Graham part for this board. Wichita Falls is included in the South Plains board, so I posted it here. Obviously, I am willing to travel in the area. Whatever, I wasn't getting any useful replies anyway, so I just took it down. Thanks for your rudeness Garlic, perhaps you need a geography lesson!

Perhaps you need a sensitivity lesson, as in "don't be so sensitive". Post anything on a message board, you're going to get dissected, poked, prodded, kidded, and generally beat up on.

I don't know what your responses were, you took them down before I saw them. But I assumed they were angry replies to Garlic because you posted twice, then removed them. Folks don't usually remove level-headed responses.

Perhaps you would have been better served to laugh along with garlic, and explained you were posting here for the W. Falls connection.

As it was, it makes you look petty and too easily upset. As far as getting no responses, look around. This is not the General board, where posts scroll off in an hour due to heavy posting. This board may go days without a post.

Heck, there are still posts on the front page that haven't been scrolled off, and the last post was 5 weeks ago.

Who cares? I don't need a sensitivity lesson; I just don't want to mess with checking this anymore. Yes I posted some stuff saying why I had posted here, but then I was afraid I was revealing too much (my background, where I live specifically, etc.) and I don't want it publicly know (by coworkers) that I am searching for a new job. That is why I removed the posts....not because I was "angry." Let's just all stop replying to the thread...sorry I ever posted it!

Whatever, dude. I had the silly idea that when one is asking for help or seeking a job, they should be polite and respectful to those they ask, not snippy and sensitive.

Good luck on the job hunt, I know that I'd love to hire someone exhibiting the attitude you show here.

Hell, yes! Don't need to be lumping people in the Graham area with the metrosexualplex.

Speaking of Graham, I had lunch in Eliasville last week.

That place is hard to find, but the food was very good.
