When I was a cotton rep in school, I got to see many big places like loop and lariat
Just to a football game, a scrimmage actually.

Worked on the farm many summers out that direction. Ate lunch many times at the Loop Grill and Grocery! Former Aggie punter David Davis is from Loop.
Went to a football game.

I grew up a few miles from Loop, exciting place. They just pull a massive coup and hired the football coach from Wellman, a town about 7 miles away. The coach is one of the all time winningest coaches in six man football.
Wellman Wildcats! The Wellman Grocery used to be a damn good place to eat lunch.
They were usually in our district. I never lost to that particular group of Longhorns.

The Wellman Grocery & Grill. They did used to have good food, but someone else bought it about 10 years ago and it's gone steadily downhill. They did move a dilapidated trailer house onto the property which adds to its charm.
Damn. I was thinking about making a trip down there for a cheeseburger.
