I was talking to someone yesterday who has a pretty odd sense of humor at times.

He said that when he's driving a vehicle through Borger around midnight or later and he's sure that there is nothing on the vehicle that is wrong, he likes to make several laps at a slow speed around the traffic circle and then drive well under the speed limit toward Stinnett. According to him, every time he has done that, a DPS trooper pulled onto the highway and followed him, in some cases all the way to Stinnett.

Yeah......because there is nothing suspicious about that. That's not weird that anyone would do that either, but that is funny.

If someone makes several laps around the circle at slow speed and then drives slowly away without getting anywhere near the speed limit, the obvious thing to suspect is that they are drunk.

I grew up in Borger. He was probably the only car on the road at that time and the cop had nothing better to do.

Yea, thats very true. I'm from Borger and I'm sure he was the only car on the streets and the cop was bored.

I'm also from Borger, and seing as the population has dropped since even I lived there makes this all the more true.

ha..you know your town has issues when you goto amarillo to have a good time.




although i hear amarillo's nightlife is getting decent --- or maybe i was underage and out of the loop?

Ha ha thats true it is sad. Amarillo's has gotten better but its no college station.
