Baseball last night was a little pathetic.
I'd posted about Karen Simmons (JEM's wife). She passed last night.

How did she die?
She battled cancer for a long time. Their oldest daughter's wedding is in May. We're on our way out for the funeral.
Sad to hear. She was a great teacher.
I knew she was not doing well but had not heard. I did get a call yesterday regarding Eddie Baker. He died Saturday night. He was the golf pro at the country club for a while and lived in Claude. I used to run with his kids.
And I used to run with him. He was the HC when I was in HS. But I also drank way too much beer with him at the CCC when he was golf pro.
He was a good pro, I cannot imagine him as Head Coach somewhere, even Claude.

I dont know for sure. He went to bed Saturday and did not wake up. Not a bad way to go but was too early.
