Anybody used Childers Brothers for soil stabilization. Really interested in the chemical EcSS-3000 they use to stabilize clay soil. It is supposed to stabilize the soil to keep foundations from moving.
I'm a civil engineer, and I did alot of reading up on that product, looking at results, etc. In my opinion it should be required for all new home construction.
I live in Fort Worth (Amarillo will always be home) and had it done Tuesday. It was $30 per lineal foot around the house. 180 ft. around the house X $30 =$5400, included tax.
The company here in Cowtown (actually Burleson) and Childers Brothers in Amarillo are connected.
Amarillo does not have the same soil as DFW area which is loaded with clay.
I never knew Amarillo to have any problems with soil movement like DFW - B-CS, etc...
New news to me...
