I recently found a copy of my grandmother's senior picture that was taken by Alderson of Clarendon. She attended high school in a nearby town. My grandfather attended the same school, but I didn't find a copy of his senior picture.

Is Alserson still in business? If not, do you know who might have bought them out? Probably a slim chance of chasing down a 75 year old photograph/negative, but it won't hurt to give it a shot.

Killer, isn't the law office in what used to be Aldersons? It closed prior to me moving but I remember going to the ranch and stopping by there. There isn't a car lot there now since Chamberlain/Suna/Stanley closed down.

Yes the law office was in there. Not sure what is in the building now. I have not been by it in years.

My great Uncle Jim Patman built the building in the teens. He was the Sheriff that hung the last man in the Panhandle. I am sure you have seen the famous picture.

He built it as a Ford dealership. You can still see the outline of the Ford emblem on the sides of the building.

The Alderson's purchased the Chevrolet dealership from the other side of my family in the mid-50's and moved the dealership into that building.

They sold it to the Chamberlains in the early 90's and it closed in the last couple of weeks I understand.
