Coby Mavroulis is a pitcher for the Amarillo Dillas. I remember a couple years ago when some Amarillo Ags organized a get together to go to a Dusters game when John Roberson was playing with them. Something similar for Mav would probably be nice. Just letting yall know. Dillas home opener is tonight.

Weird thing....the Dillas' announcer died of a heart attack right before the game tonight.

I saw that in the paper this morning. Horrible news, sounds like he was a great guy and had been announcing for the dillas for a long time.

Saw that on KVII last night. Read the story in the paper today too. That's unfortunate.

I went to the game on Tuesday night.... not the best performance I've ever seen from a baseball team, but 2 dollar tickets and concessions who can complain? Anyone on here know if the aggie club ever does group events to stuff like this?

Eight games in and Mav has yet to pitch.

On a positive note the Dillas got back to .500... Hopefully not many 17-0 games left in the tank.

Mav pitched last night in the Dillas' 3-2 win against Edinburgh.

He walked one and struck out three in 1.2 innings of work to close the game.

The Dillas scored a run in the bottom of the ninth inning to earn Coby his first ULB win.

Looks like they'll be using him out of the bullpen this season so it will be tough to predict when he's pitching. Heck this is the first time he's played in nine games.

Congrats to Mav.

Lee Howard '05 threw out the first pitch. The Dillas were destined to win!
