Mr. Soyars, a longtime San Marcos resident, has run a cattle business most of his life. He's hunted in Africa, served in World War II as a pilot with the Army Air Corps and played football for Texas A&M. He played in the Southwest Conference Championship and in the Orange Bowl while on the A&M football team.

Just kidding. But seriously, you do know how crowded Ruby Tequila's gets on Wednesdays right? That is when they do their all day happy hour, with a special price menu. It may not be as bad considering it's in October, and the patio might not be as packed.

Rocky, this is the one south of 82nd and we reserved the private room, so hopefully we will be ok, but thanks for the heads up. The Wednesday night deal was unavoidable this time.
