Can anyone give me a few leads or options for renting in Amarillo? I would like to rent a house since I have a dog but would also look at apartments for the short term if need be. I will be moving there around June 21st and need a few options. I will be living by my self so I do not need a 3 or 4 bdrm house. I just want to be in a nicer area. Thanks for the help.

I lived at Country Club Villas. They were fairly nice and were reasonably priced. It is an apartment complex but was pet friendly. They are at 45th and Coulter.

Forgot to add do NOT choose the Timbers apartments. The walls have no insulation and it once took 12 days to fix a window that was broken during a hail storm.

My wife and I lived in Quail Creek Apartments for 1 1/2 years. They are pet friendly and also own some duplexes right behind the apartment complex that have fenced yards and a two car garage. They are out by the hospital and we never heard music or had any parties around us. Mostly med students or pharmacy students from what we could tell.

The neighborhood around them was also great for running/walking the dog.

Hey guys, I need some help. I have lived in Houston TX my entire life with the exception of College Station for 5 years. (gig,em 5th yr senior!) I just accepted a job with a new company and they are moving me to Pampa TX. Does anyone have any advice about the area? restuarants? bars? things to do? How are the people? hunting areas? areas to stay away from?(from what i have read already the North East side of the city is nicest area to live in) nice apartments? workout gyms, if any?
