Their ag teacher was killed in San Antonio today while there for the Stock Show.

I'm down here at the show right now. We actually drove by the scene after it happened while the ambulances and police were there. I saw two a couple of school pickups there on the scene helping and I was just praying it wasn't someone I knew. Then we got into the barn and heard the news. Mr. Gunn was at Klondike when I was in high school and was a good teacher and an even better guy.

The show barn was in shock this afternoon, everyone thought very highly of him. Just terrible, awful news.

At church yesterday I ran into several guys that knew him, and all were in agreement on what a fantastic guy he was.

Pretty bad deal. He pulled out of the trailer lot and a train hit him. He did not see it, as trailers were right by the tracks. Our Ag Teacher was about to cry, as we had just unloaded pigs ourselves. He had a lot of professional contact with him. His teaching partner said a few words about him the other morning. About had me crying. They have a memorial fund set up for his family.
