Weather.com shows it to be 111 degrees outside right now. At a hardware store in Guymon, Oklahoma this afternoon, their outside display said it was 112 degrees. My mother's car showed an outside temperature of between 112 degrees and 115 degrees.

I's so hot that we're losing power supplies and power strips. Last Thursday and Friday, we lost two power strips and five power supplies from tower boxes. I only have one spare power supply left.

I'm ready for it to cool off.

Driving through Sayre Oklahoma. Vehicle has an outside air temp gauge that sits in the grill, so it picks up a little road heat. Listening to radio reports of current temps, gauge was reading consistently about 2 degrees higher than weather service reports.

It was showing 120 degrees.

It's only 98 in Lubbock right now. It's a dang cold front!!!
