Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I'm here with my girlfriend and it took us a couple of hours to realize there is nothing going on in this town. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

There is the ranching heritage museum close to the tech campus, and the Lubbock lake landmark. That's about all I can think of.

There's a Main Event. It's like Grand Station in CS. It's the place we went during the cotton bowl trip your fish year. There's also a place called Dave's Need for Speed that has go karts, laser tag, and mini golf. If you're into science stuff, The Science Spectrum is cool. It's got a lot of hands on stuff that's really cool. And there's an IMAX theater there as well. Along the lines of the Ranching Heritage Center (which is really cool if you're into old west stuff), the Tech museum of natural history is a really good museum if you're into history.

If you're looking for food, I would suggest pizza/calzones from One Guy from Italy, "southern comfort" type food from Iron Skillet (one of my personal favorites), burgers and stuff like that I would say either Buns Over Texas or Blue Sky. For dessert I would suggest The Choclat Mousse Pie Bar.

There with your girlfriend? Take her to the drive-in movie and romance her the way us old farts used to do 40 years ago!

Seriously, the Stars & Stripes Drive-In is located on the Clovis Hwy (US 84)and is a great place to go take in a movie. In fact you get a double feature for just $7 per person. In addition to that, they have a great 50's Diner. You will definitely enjoy an evening out there.

Thanks guys! We've done most of the suggestions and are running out of time to finish the rest! It's been great. I would like to point out that the American museum of Agriculture was unbelievable today. If you have the opportunity, I would highly suggest stopping by for a visit.
