I'll be spending a few days in Wichita Falls. Anyone have any recommendations for dinner while I'm there? It seems all I normally get in WF is burgers, looking to expand my horizons.

Surprised you never tried McBrides Steak House, it's pretty good. And have you ever tried Trip Advisor dot com? If you are careful with the rankings, it works pretty well for us.

As a friend said, use Trip Advisor like Olympic Skating: Throw out the high and the low and average the other ratings. And be careful of places with only a few ratings.

Yeah, I normally use tripadvisor (along with yelp & urbanspoon) when I travel. But I was hoping the locals could offer better suggestions.

Grand Buffet is one of best Chinese places you'll eat.

Rafter J is pretty good bbq place in Iowa Park. It's along Hwy 287.

China star is better than grand buffet. Don Jose on kemp and 9th is good Mexican. Sevy's on 9th or 10th is good breakfast burritos. Catfish something is good. Glass kitchen, Scott's, genes, other places in that order for burgers (Grandma ruths ). Parkway grill for mediOcre sports bar grub. Italian place on kemp that used tO be salad deli. Maybe braums on kemp for a sundae.

And the mcbride, pioneers, downtown Mexican place all suck. ****ing chuck wagon was better.

Can't recall the name, but the Japanese hibachi grill in town is pretty good/

Parkway Grill.

Samurai of Tokyo is the hibachi place. Parkway is good for sports bar grub.

Casa Manana downtown. Get there early, they close at 6 or 7. Get the red tacos.

Pelican's near the university

Go to the Bar L and get a red draw and Umphrey burger - you can thank me later
