I'm looking for recommended RV camps/resorts between Dallas and Denver. Any well kept secrets out there?

We've rented an RV for the 1st week of August and I'm looking for places to stay.

Thanks in advance Panhandle Ags!

Sorry, not an RV guy, so no good ideas.

Were I you, I might see if I could overnight at Caprock Canyons State Park. Interesting, if a little out of the way.

Palo Duro is pretty, but would add a few miles, too. However, the road in/out is awfully steep. Some would rather not challenge it.

Awesome to ride down on a 10-speed bike with friends. Even better if $$ is on the line.

RV travel guides - at any truck stop - will help you out...

If you were a couple of weeks earlier, there is the annual cookoff on a friend of mine's ranch near Spearman.

First week in August in that area is going to be brutal. I suppose you are on your way to Colorado?? I would just drive on through. I love the Panhandle and have spent many nights in Caprock and Palo Duro. But it is really hot during August.
