So the video is a year old, but Yahoo just updated with an aricle about the Airbus Eurocopter X3. Imagine an Osprey with a rotor and little engines that don't tilt.
There's a Youtube video from 2013. Fun side fact? Go to the 1:15 mark and you can see it flying over Palo Duro Canyon.
I don't know if they took it by Bell's tiltrotor plant in Amarillo or what. Several X3 photos over PD Canyon at Airbus Facebook page
On a side note, they set a helicopter speed record of about 293mph.
An Osprey is capable of 316mph.
