Does anyone have any insight on waste cooking oil pickup in the Lubbock area? I have talked to a few companies that do so and they offer around 25% of market value. Oil is filtered and clean.

I will have about 500-600 gallons a month.

That's my thought, but haven't stumbled upon any online at least. I need to take another look. I would like to go directly to the consumer and not go through valley protein and get hosed.

I work for a biodiesel company in Guymon. We'd probably buy it at market price. Only thing is we generally only deal in truckloads. If you had a way to store it until you had a truckload quantity, maybe we could do something.

Thanks Jack.

How much is a truckload? Are we talking 6,000 gallons? I am not quite there yet, but am hoping to be doing that every 6 months of so.

Can I send you an email when I get some more volume?

Yeah, a truckload is 6000-7000 gallons/~50,000 pounds. My email is cspipkin at gmail. I can put you in touch with our feedstock buyer when you're ready.
