Good news about this eatery coming to amarillo. Moe's is closing its doors and Baker Bros is filling in after they close down. i was not a big fan of Moes food.

i also read thatt Baker Bros will put in a second location in the Forum shopping center later this year.

Baker Bros is good grub, good sandwhiches, salads, soups - good place to mix in the lunch line-up for me and dinner. schlotzky's gets old after awhile.

A few shops at The Forum at Soncy are now open. Several more will be opening in the next two weeks.

what stores are they opening at the forum? i haven't been home in a while.

West Texas - any update on another restaurant taking your other pad site out front?

My wife is estatic that Baker Bros is coming. We really don't have a good "deli" here. Moe's stunk.

me too, i love baker bros. when we lived in dallas, it was always a good place to eat a sandwhich - i love the south beach, its good stuff. schlotzky's and jasons deli are good they just get hold. i am glad that not one but 2 baker bros are coming.

Baker Bros. is taking the end cap of the north pad building. Tenants signed up so far:

Retail: World Market, Guitar Center, Coldwater Creek, Jos. A. Bank, Chico's, Lane Bryant, Kirkland's, Justice, FedEx Kinko's

Restaurants: Pei Wei, Baker Bros. Deli

Bank: Amarillo National

Loved Baker Bros. when I lived in Dallas. There aren't any down here in Houston.

Look forward to going when I go home to Amarillo.
