After fully expecting to go in and have a horrible experience with tech fans the weekend was great. We had tickets in the alumni side and the couple next to me bought us all cokes at the game. Even through getting killed everyone around was real nice and had a great conversation about football. Even at the bars, we still didnt run into any problems. Every time I walked to the bar to get a drink, somebody new started talking to me and bought us drinks.

I dont know...I was beginning to think the world was going to end with all the niceness we encountered.

For some reason this is unsettling for me. Do they feel so bad for us that now they are going to be nice?

I can't wait for them to go back to being mean.

Hey killer I have been completely taken back at this years class of techies. My neighbors are students there and are good ole country boys and they never really messed with me. However of all the Ags that I talked to this weekend none reported any problems what so ever. Really strange. I do believe they feel sorry for us. There has been reports of them chanting in the stands of we need to keep fran.

The season is soon upon us. Diva is sitting beside me as we speak, when is Darling getting home.

I've been to 3 games in Lubbock and never had a problem. If it wasn't such a far drive from CS, I'd definitely go every other year.

i guess nobody sat by the band. we were harassed the whole time. not to mention the nazi hand signs while playing at halftime

Killer darlin came home last week and is just about bird crazy. She is still pretty puppish but that is to be expected. I am ready for the season to kick off. I do think that Darlin will be on the small side as well but will wait and see how well she grows into those huge paws of hers.

As for moving out of lubbock I can not wait. We are planning on building a place somewhere between here and the ranch in the next couple of years.

I also sat on the west side. The Tech fans were very nice to me. Not a single insult hurled my way. I think they feel sorry for us. It's weird.
