I just accepted a job in El Paso and will be moving in the next few months. Can anyone give me some advice on what areas of town to buy a house, schools, etc.?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are several old threads with some discussions that may provide some insight but I would steer you towards the West Side or the Upper Valley. Do you know what part of town you will be working in?

You may want to check out the Mission Hills area. It is closer to downtown than the other two, it is an older area but most of the houses have been kept in good shape

I second the west side. Basically if you find any home located on a street directly off of "Resler", you should be ok.
