Bunch of craziness going on out there. At first I heard it was a standoff but apparently it went down pretty smoothly.

On an interesting note, I know the guy who discovered the compound. He was a pilot who happened to fly over and see random buildings in the middle of nowhere and reported it.

Anybody have anything on it?

Currently in a standoff at this point. If any of you are unaware of Mormons and their temple look it up. I would hate to think what I would do if someone took my children away. So you know the Eldorado person that was flying and found it??

Where is it? I have been trying to find satellite photos of it for a little while, but the best description I can get is 4 miles north of Eldorado, down a paved road, behind a hill.

The group bought the land in 2004 and then started construction. You may have a hard time finding a satelite picture of it. I haven't found it yet.

My deer lease is within 10 miles of this place. The only thing you can see from the road is the big white "temple" off in the distance. We always talk about how nuts they are when we drive by there. Guess it was a matter of time before there was a reason to go in and break it up a little more. The original leader already got put in jail.

My dad was down there for those events. He said it was an interesting place.
