I will be driving through Junction on my way home from San Antonio tomorrow. I was wondering if there are any signs/memorials/landmarks I could check out related to Bear Bryant's camp. I realize that the TTU system now has the land, but I thought with the (awful) movie and everything, perhaps there's something an Aggie might be interested in around the town.

Cooper's barbecue. Not as good as Llano, but tasty.

Order the cabrito from Coopers. Its expensive but really good. The tea is good to.

If you are going through Junction, stop at Lum's BBQ. It is in a gas station south of the interstate. Awesome awesome food. I think it is better than Cooper's. The site of the football camp has been updated quite a bit lately. My mom puts on a camp there every summer, and it has changed a lot lately.

Lums is ok...I have ALOT of family ties in Junction..and the owner isnt that great, but I guess its safe to say the food is pretty good...but I wouldnt give him my money

Lums gives you more for less and tastes pretty good.
