My husband and I will be traveling to Odessa in June, and I am currently looking at hotel rooms. We usually stay with his father when we travel to Odessa, however; now with my 2 years old son, it would much easier to have a hotel room. Are there any hotels that you would recommend, or any that you would warn me to stay away from?

I believe there is a Hilton Hotel on the east side of town off of Loop 338. Just google Odessa Texas hotels and that should get you a list.

Yeah I did that, but I was just wondering if there were any hotels or areas that I should stay away from.

Yeah, that sounds classy.

Stay away from south and west side. Your best bet and nicer area of town would be mostly on the north and east side of town. Area around Loop 338 and Parkway and 42nd street is pretty nice from what I remember. Midland also has a nice Hilton downtown and a number of newer and nice hotels along Loop 250. Just another option.

You should try the Elegante, the La Quinta, or the Days Inn. They are all equidistant from the most awesome place in all of Odessa.

Hmm...I'll have to look into that. Actually I need a Hilton hotel, or a branch of the Hilton hotels. I get awesome rates, b/c my sister-in-law works for one. Any of those that you would reccomend?

elegante is decent, and probalby as good as you can do in Hodessa.

There are two MCM Elegante hotels in east Odessa. The main hotel is the old Radisson and the second is the old Holidome. They have both been remodeled and are pretty nice. The guy that owns the MCM (Permian) Mall owns them.

Hmmm...I might have to consider going that route then.
