Hey everyone. I am moving to Midland next month to start working and I am going to be an independent contractor. Are there any Aggie accountants in Midland who would like to advise me as to exactly what I need to do (how to set it up, what to write off, how much money to keep out of my check, etc.) Thanks in advance.

Title work for an oil and gas leasing company. I just graduated from law school.

Well considering I graduated from Tech Law, I don't think I can hold that against her. Do you know if she handles the taxes for any landmen or other independents?
