i am originally from the midland area (small town), but now live in Houston.
anyone else?

Graduated high school in Abilene, but in Houston now.

Seems to be a trend here - - born in Odessa, spent time in San Angelo, but now live in HOUSTON!!!

Born in Monahans, grew up in Midland, college at A&M and am now in Sugar Land near Houston. Hope to be in B/CS one day soon!!!!

summa05 - What small town around Midland are you from? I grew up in Greenwood and graduated from there in 1998. I now live in Houston.

Ft. Stockton until I graduated high school, now in the Woodlands until 8/19/2005 - Pebble Creek in BCS.

I'm a yankee, but my wife grew up out there...Ballinger...there is definitely something to be said about west Texas chicks

I always drove through Garden City on my way back to B/CS. If you blink you miss it.

I didn't know people actually grew up in Garden City. I just figured they spawned there or something.

Interesting that a few of you have lived exactly opposite of where I started and finished.
I was born in Houston, raised in Katy 13 years, went to A&M for 4 years, Albuquerque for 3 then Midland for the last 13 years.

I talk to him all the time. He's making the big bucks in Dallas now so I don't get to hang out with him too often though. I'm surprised he hasn't posted on this thread yet. He spends more time on Texags than I do...slacker.

I'm HighT04's lil sis....also from the booming suburb of Lamesa. Thanks to him I was delightfully brain washed and now I'm a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2008!

Where in Midland do you live? Have you adjusted to the area and how do you like it now? I do miss the drier climate but have grown to enjoy the trees and hills of central and east texas. I always thought I would return to Midland and live there forever. Really liked it growing up but not sure if I could go back now. I grew up on the 3500 block of Gulf just south of Lee, but then we moved to a Wallace Patio home in the 900 block of Pine when I was in high school at Midland High. The people make Midland great + it does have alot of nice things for a town its size.

Yes, That is one of my own pictures.
Hwy 191 going west of 1788 the first windmill on the north side (actually almost due west) for sunset shots.

I live in Crestgate area as of a week ago.
I cannot live in the more humid climates like "back home" for me in Katy. I become a broncial nightmare. Midland and Albuquerque climates have helped a bunch. We have been here 13 years in Midland now raising a family. It appears to be growing again, not sure why but won't complain.

Midland is all spread out but it takes 15 minutes to go 15 miles almost anywhere you want to go. Beats Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antone any day of the week for traffic.

Have to agree with the people out here, but Texans all over the state have been very nice compared to New Mexico anyday.
