I hear people bashing El Paso all the time. I live in El Paso now, have a great group of friends, and we always find something fun to do out here.

I know it doesn't compare to Dallas/Houston/Austin/etc. for options, but there's a lot going on out here. Great weather, great (and cheap) golf, the nightlife is getting better and better, beautiful Latin girls - I could go on and on.

Just curious, trying to understand why so many assume it's the armpit of Texas...

Which courses do you play?

I've played Vista Hills, Horizon, and Painted Dunes. Its been a while though, I haven't played golf out here since high school.

Never spent much time in El Paso. What amazes me is how big El Paso is. You guys have around 20 5A/4A High Schools. And it's still growing.

ttuhsc - where have you played golf? where do you hang out where you see no latin ladies? i'm not talking about the fat ones walking around thomason hospital and the rest of the hood.
