Was in Junction 3 weeks ago. I had an opportunity to eat at the Sunshine Bakery. The hambergers are huge and very good. They use homemade bunsand a thick meat patty. If nothing else stop in for the pie, banana pudding, or any of their other bakes goods.

Junction is in West Texas?

Always thought it to be Central, but then again I grew up in Pecos, so I only think of Midland/Odessa and back to the West as West Texas...

I put it here because I felt their was a greater chance you west tx guys might be in the area than the Austin and San Antonio crowd. We all seem to stop in F'berg.

The Sunshine is very good. It used to be Irma's Bakery and before that it was Fern's Bakery (both doughnut shops that also served lunch). The bread they use is the original recipe that Mrs. Fern always used.

Junction is one of those towns that is on the western edge of what people usually call central Texas so I often hear it referred to as both central and west. I like to call it the western edge of the hill country.
