My cousin’s son died from injuries he received in Iraq. He was in a second humvee when the lead humvee hit a road-side bomb. He was a medic, so he got out checking on the injured. He stepped on a second mine and lost his left leg and arm in the explosion. They got him stable and sent him to Brooke in San Antonio. Shortly after his arrival his organs were being attacked by an unknown virus. This virus decimated him one organ at a time. After his liver started to fail, they unhooked the life support and let him go to the Lord. My cousin Tonya is grieving for the loss of her first born son, along with being worried the anti-war protestors will show up at his funeral. The army has promised they will provide a human barrier and no one will be able to interrupt the service. Tonya and her husband Robin need lots of prayers, as they are not dealing with it very well. Of course, how do you deal with burying your child?
