Ever done San Angelo State Park? I did last May and hope to if I ever get back into town. Hotter than hell and plenty of thorns, btu a nice change from our trails up in Dallas.

check out the X-Bar Ranch in Eldorado

they have a big mountain bike weekend somewhere on their calendar. Bring the gang down from Dallas, stay in their lodges and ride the ranch.
