I knew Permian was pretty good this year, but now I believe that they are really good.

I thought the Eagles had it sewn up. Even after the half when Permian had the lead. Permian has an awesome team. They kept pressure on the QB and covered downfield. Eagle defense did well, but Permian was able to stop a couple of AHS drives and Eagle D couldn't keep Mojo off the score board

Well I'm a Permian grad so I want them to do well, but I'd love to see all west Texas teams do well (except for Midland Lee).

Went to the game. AHS 2 turnovers resulting in 10 points did them in. Good game.

We need to be on Chris Williams from Abilene High #20. He's going to be a good one for some D-1 program. Quick like lightning.

From all indications MOJO is back in a big way. This does my heart good, because it has been a long time in coming. Seems like old times. Hawaii Five-O.

I still miss the fact that they (the uil) took San Angelo Cental out of what was the 5-4A in my day. Not that they could do very well in the district any more. It is just wrong that Angelo has to travel to lubbuttocks and Amarillo for football when we have the history and the perfect travel triangle of Angelo ---> Abilene ---> to Midland/ Odessa (or Odessa/ Midland for you Ector county folks).

It just seems..... wrong.

If Angelo weren't so "proud," they would have two 5-A schools instead of a large 5-A and a 4-A school. Had that happened, then Midland, Odessa, and San Angelo would have constituted a district. Abilene would have been included in a Lubbock/Amarillo type of district. San Angelo Central is afraid that San Angelo Lake View (the red-neck school) would have defeated it in football (and other sports), so they deliberately keep it in the 4-A category. Actually Central is much better off in the Lubbock/Amarillo district because they can compete with them - and are unable to competitively function against Midland or Odessa.
