5-6 hours or so

I would say more on the 4.5 to 5 but all depends on how you drive. It is about 260+ from the RGV.

If memory serves me correct there is a place called the Wagon Wheel, and they do have an Applebee's

Forgot to check back before I went.

Ate at a place called "Danny's" on Veterans Blvd, was nothing impressive.

I didn't make it to Piedras Negras, no passport.

Got pulled over by DPS twice and Border Patrol once because the window tint on my rental car was darker than the legal limits. Got a written warning on the first one and that helped ease the explanation proess on the second and third stops.

Not sure if it was the water from the Iced Tea and hotel ice, or the breakfast tacos and a taqueira whose name escapes me, but after I got back i had a wonderful barfing session.
