Probably not. I usually take my four grandkids on a recruiting trip to College Station during the week between Christmas and New Years for a basketball game. Cheap tickets (since there are 6 of us), no traffic, they are out of school, no problem with hotel rooms and we have a blast. Afterwards we drive back thru San Antonio and eat at the Magic Time Machine.

I'm going got 4 tickets. it's cheaper than a road trip to CS for me..since I live on the beach.

I broke down and got 2 tickets. Hopefully we improve a lot between now and then.

I couldn't pull the trigger on these...I'd rather be in my courtside seats Fri and Sat at the Vipers game.

I'll end up driving in from the t.u. game the night before. First time ever to go to their stadium for me on Thanksgiving night.

Tickets are now half price. I guess demand isn't quite as strong as they guessed it would be. I just bought another one for $63.50 after all of the fees.

The tix are buy one get one free if you buy the weekend pass for $110 (4 tix for 220). The tix are 50 per game otherwise...

Just got back. Great setup but the Aggies forgot their offense. I will seriously consider tix next year if they're $60 or so again.

Scampi's was open for business Saturday night as well. Pretty good.

Island for the most part looked in good shape. Still a lot of places that looked bad though. Some of the hotels were still missing shingles and roofing but were open.

I visited Palm St Pier, Dirty Al's, and Doubleday. All were great and hoping to get back out there soon.
