My daughters cat apparently has a kidney problem and asked us to take it to the vet to get it looked at. She said go to Pet Smart out on 10th street (McAllen). (I didn't even know they had vets at Pet Smart.)
They only take pets by appointment apparently and the only one that was available was at 5:00 p.m. We had to wait for over an hour to see the vet. He gave us a liquid antibiotic and some special food and charged us approximately $80. We got out of the store at 7:00.
This outfit seems very slow and expensive. We don't have pets anymore but but when we did, we went to Drs. Gray (aggies) over on 23rd streetand the cost was never over $20. I guess things change but... wow!
