In a couple of posts over the past year I have been less than complementary about La Mexicana in McAllen. It has been over a year since I ate there and I had several unpleasant experiences. Last week my wife and I decided to try it again and we were plesantly surprised. The food was good and the service a little better than average.
I still like Kokos better but it wasn't half bad. --Just sayin'...
One of the waitresses at La Jaiba in Edinburg told me (last year)that they were opening up a place on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. Anybody know if that happened?
