LOL, you really think the Gringos in the Valley are racist? Maybe 30 years ago a significant number might have been, but nowadays I don't think so. If they are they are living in a closet and spending their days teed off fighting the brown tide.

When I was living there I heard more "racist" comments from 2nd and 3rd generation American hispanics, like my wife and her family for instance. I love it when she spouts off about "GD Mexican's" and I look over at her and just laugh. I think they decended from the Mexican version of Archie Bunker and forget where they are from.

I actually think that there are more Gringos in numbers the Valley now than there was in the past, just the per capita number is probably down as about 3% of Mexico now lives in Palmview, Rangerville, Blue Town, Brownsville, Las Milpas, Alton and some other places.

The Valley has become way more Mexicanized than it once was, many folks originally from the Valley, both white and hispanic, are leaving and they are being replaced by hordes from Mexico that get across the river but don't want to risk going further north.
