Yes, absolutely yes, there are throngs of armed bandidos riding fire snorting horses up and down the streets killing women and children, but only after they torture them for hours. Men? They are killed with lazer guided gatlin type guns that fire poisoned bullets for good measure.

Just to get past the bridge you have to pay a $500 protection toll.

Seriously, I have winter renters in my place in Port Isabel and they go over there two or three times a week and get liquored up and dance the rumba and say it is fine.

On a side note, Progresso isn't that bad. I had some friends over there just this weekend and they said that aside from the military presence it was all the same.
