I feel that Rio Grande City is as far as it goes West-Northwest. (I'd prefer if it stopped in Mission though,heh.)

Laredo is its own animal and definitely not part of the Valley. Agree with the Starr, Hidalgo, Cameron and Willacy description of the Valley.

Pretty sure Laredo would never claim us as well.

Lots of folks in Starr do not consider it part of the Valley. You will here them say "I am going to the Valley today" or "We have to get it from the Valley".
