Hollywood gossip insider Perez Hilton is reporting that singer Luis Miguel is in critical condition.
The 39-year-old singer has been hospitalized at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles for several days.
Perez Hilton reported that Miguel's managers have kept publicity to a minimum.
But the celebrity gossip insider is reporting that Miguel was getting cosmetic in advance of his 40th birthday on Monday.
Hilton now reports that Miguel was getting routine lipo around his abdoment and work on his face but got an infiection that spread to several organs, including his lungs.
The gossip queen reports that Miguel is now in critical condition because doctors can't find an antibiotic that works.
