I went to the new Buffalo Wild Rings at the Palms Crossing on Ware Road. It was awful. I need a new go-to place to watch the rest of the NBA playoffs. Any suggestions?

wings & rings...there are several of them now. Jackson's used to be nice back when it first opened.

Wings N Rings off Shary Rd is pretty good they have plenty of tv's. Service could be better though. There isn't very many Sports Bars it would be nice if we had a Fox & Hound in McAllen.

I've been to Wings n Rings on Shary Rd. about 4 times and have had bad service/food each time. Finally gave up on them after the last time.

BWWs has been good the times I've been there. Food, service, and drinks were all good.

I was at Jackson's on Friday and the crowd wasn't bad for a Friday night. Service was good, drinks were cold, and the wings were great. Definitely go back.

Agree on the need for having a Fox n Hound down here. I'd always be there.

the key to a good sports bar down in the RGV is location, location, location followed closely by prices.

price it a little higher than usual (read other sports bars) and set up between Shary and Ware on EXP 83. higher prices will keep the morons out and the crowd down.

i absolutely HATE the wings and rings on shary. terrible service, terrible atmosphere, average food, loud/crappy music, loud/crappy soccer on the tubes at the same time as the loud/crappy music......the BWW on ware is OK. Hooters is the RGV/McAllen is overrated. Crappy food and below average eyecandy at best.

BWW on nolana and 10th has always sucked...similar experience as wings and rings on shary. too many fresas sans the hot fresitas.....

I've been going regularly to the Wings and Rings on 10th in Mcallen for lunch with my wife. I like their lunch specials. The service is good, but the can be slow sometimes. $6.99 combos w/ drink on the lunch menu: Gyros, Quesadilla, Wings, Tenders, Boneless Wings, Grilled Tenders, Chicken Tender Salad, Chicken Pita, or Burger; all come with a side. Pretty good value for us. Food is portioned well and the wife likes. (she can be picky sometimes..) All seats in Plain vew of several TV's. As far as night-time:Good Sized Bar, we've gone in the evening once when we dropped off the rugrat at grammas. Watched some college ball. Once again service was a bit slow, but overall experience was enjoyable. They've got the new touchscreen games, which we like...
