Is channel 4 the pits or what? I have both an external antenna and DirecTV. The signal is in and out all the time on both so its not my set up. The problem is that the shows that I like to watch are all on channel 4. I have no problems with reception on 5 or 23.

Sad!

I guess I should have waited for the response from their engineer he said:

"Bill,
We are in the process of replacing our present encoder that is causing the issues you are experiencing. It will take several days to prepare for the installation as we have to install the new encoders in the racks (done), do preparatory cabling so that we minimize down time (ongoing), and then do the conversion to the new encoders. I wish that there were a quicker solution to the problem, but we need to be meticulous during the installation process."

That sounds resonable to me.

Their newscasts are good for unintended entertainment. Btw - can't believe Belen (hot weather girl on fox) is already preggo again. I think she had maybe a 6 week break.
