Customs officers allegedly found six packages with out nine pounds of meth hidden in his car battery.

Mota appeared before U.S. Magistrate Court Judge Peter Ormsby in McAllen on Monday morning.

Court records show that the 26-year-old California man is an United States citizen.

Judge Ormsby denied bond for Mota until a Thursday morning hearing.

going to prison for 162k worth of meth? people from cali must be idiots. even the guy who rode his bike over was carrying more than that.
