A friend of mine has started a fishing business at SPI. Says he provides the boat/equipment/fish cleaning etc. He said that he would do this for my son-in-law and his 2 boys for half a day for $400. Is that the going rate?

that's pretty standard. 400-425 is the usual.

Thanks. I figured that must be the going price but it just seemed a little steep. I guess providing the boat, fishing poles, bait and time adds up.

It is worth it. Guides are the best. They know where to go and do everything. All you do is fish.
