Two women remain behind bars after authorities found immigrants from the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Mexico inside a Harlingen home.

U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents charged Maria Eugenia Reyes-Reyes and Ada Ruth Avila-Landaverde with harboring illegal immigrants on Friday.

Court records released on Tuesday show that the two women gave ICE and Border Patrol agents consent to search their home.

Investigators said the search took place at a mobile home at 2601 Wilson road.

Records show that authorities found seven illegal immigrants inside.

Both Reyes-Reyes and Avila-Landaverde are believed to have been caretakers for the immigrants.

The two women appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Ronald Morgan in Brownsville on Monday.

Court records show that both woman are Mexican nationals and that Reyes-Reyes had been previously deported at least once before.

Judge Morgan denied bond for both women until a Thursday afternoon hearing.

Court records show that illegal immigrants Maria Magdalena Ramos-Gil and Carmelo Galvan-Diaz are being held as witnesses in the case.

Judge Morgan issued $5,000 dollar bonds for each of them.

The case remains under investigation.
