We are visiting the folks in the valley and we need recomendations for a good place for botana platers. We are in Edinburg, but will travel.

The place we used to go to closed and we need to find a new place to get our fix. That is one thing I miss about not living down here.

Thanks.

Sounds crazy but Excalibur in Palmview just off the Expressway has a good botana for 2 that feeds about 4 people.

It is not the best location but the food is great!

I think Ciro's had pretty good Botanas. Haven't had one since '04 though...

Yup I know it isn't the nicest place but it is good. I've drank many cold ones before, during, and after eating and I've lived to tell about it.

I vote for Ciro's! I love their botanas! yum yum. I generally love anything with meat though.

IHIOGA that she does enjoy a good meat given the opportunity. Some would say she's a glutton for meat.
