Best bootmaker in The Valley? Heard Armandos in Raymondville and Camargos in Mercedes...any suggestions?

There is a bootmaker in Raymondville that has made boots for presidents. I have been in the shop but I don't remember the name.

call both and see what the wait times are like. i've heard that half a year isn't uncommon.

Rios of Mercedes is what you are thinking of. They make custom made boots, but you can also buy some off the shelf. I have had a couple of pairs.

I've had 30+ pairs made over the last 20+ years from seems like everyone. I've had several made from Armandos and Carmagos and I prefer Carmagos. Wait times for Armandos is the longest at least for me. I also wear Lucchese, Tony Llama, Black Jack and others but prefer my handmade boots.
