planning a trip to SPI in August for a few days for me and the wife..any sugggestion on hotels
Have not been to South Padre in about 4-5 years..last 2 times we went we had a group and just rented a house.
looking for something with beach front not bay

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn a couple weekends ago with our three small kids. Not bad.

I've stayed at La Quinta and La Copa. Both are bleh. Just average hotels with beach access. La Quinta is next to a brand new huge beach bar tho.
